Bristow’s Animal Control Officer, Abbey Natschke, recently announced that she accepts donations for the pups at the animal shelter.
Shelter animals appreciate donations of blankets, towels, old shirts, and other soft, snuggly items. The shelter also accepts donations of new, unopened dog food, toys, and, as ACO Abbey so sweetly said, “anything that could make a pup’s life better”.
Relatively new to the job, it is clear in social media postings that ACO Abbey looks to improve the care of animals at the shelter and the relationship between the ACO, shelter, and the community.
Anyone interested in donating items may contact ACO Abbey at 918-5501973. She is willing to pick up donations, arrange for a donation delivery, or answer questions. She also stated that donations may be left for her at Bristow City Hall at 110 West 7th Avenue.
