Shirley Jean Robbins was born April 24, 1946 in Houston,Texas. She departed this life July 12, 2022 at the age of 76.
Shirley Jean Mathews and Charley Carter were married for several years. From this union were born four sons, Charley Carter, Jr., Clifton and Clifford Carter, and Floyd Carter. After Mr. Carter passed away Shirley found love again. On April 15, 2021 Earley Robbins and Shirley were united in marriage.
She was a member of the Bristow First Free Will Baptist Church. Shirley enjoyed watching old westerns and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Robbins; four sons, Charley Carter Jr., Clifton Carter, Clifford Carter, and Floyd Carter; two sisters, Marilyn Douglas Roth and husband Doug, and Penny Cooper and husband Randy; one brother, Larry Mathews and wife Patty. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Hazel Jackson; first husband, Charley Carter; three sisters, Mae Griffin, Florine Mays, and Melody McNew; one brother, Floyd Mathews.
