Beat the Summer heat with Oklahoma’s Water Parks

Summer is here and it is time to grab the family, put on your swimsuit and check out some water parks. They have all kinds of things to do. From tall speedy slides, to floating in the lazy rivers, or just splashing around the splash pad. Here are a few water parks that I found in Oklahoma that are really fun for the whole family.

Shawnee Splash Waterpark is located at 100 E. Highland in Shawnee. (405) 273-0700. Summer hours of operation are Tuesday - Sunday: 12 p.m. - 7p.m. and if you get the season pass the hours are Tuesday - Sunday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. They are closed on Mondays. Daily Admission for adults are $6, $5 for Kids (3-17 yrs), 2 yrs and under are free, and Seniors (55+) are $5. Family Pass is $150 for 4 family members. If you want to add a 5th or 6th family member it will be an additional $10 each. If you would like to add a 7th or 8th family member it will be an additional $35. The max is 8 family members. Individual Season Pass - $50. Senior 55+ Season Pass - $40. Twilight Hours Season Pass - $30.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Located at 3908 West Reno in Oklahoma City. Phone Number is (405) 943-9687. Hours of operation are Tuesday - Saturday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. They are closed on Mondays. One day tickets are $29.99. They have three different annual passes as well.

Safari Joe’s H2O Water and Adventure Park, located at 4707 East 21st in Tulsa. Phone number is (918) 749-7385. Hours of operation are Monday - Thursday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sunday: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.Teen Night is Tuesday: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. for ages 13-19. Threw the months of June and July. Adult Night is Thursday: 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. you must be 21 or older. Threw the months of June, July, andAugust, general admission is $26 for over 48”, junior admission is $20 for under 48”, seniors admission is $20 for 55+, and Sunday is $20. They also have seasonal passes for $120 for over 48” and $60 for under 48”. Ages two and under are always free.

River Country Family Water Park - located at 3600 Arline St in Muskogee. Phone number is (918) 684-6399. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Sunday: 1p.m. - 6p.m. General admission is $8 for ages 16 and up, $7 for ages 3 - 15, and ages 2 and under are always free.They also have a Twilight Swim, it is Monday - Friday: after 4 p.m. The cost for that is $4 for ages 16 and up, $3 for ages 3 - 15, and 2 and under are always free. Season Pases - 60.00 for 16 and up and 45.00 for ages 3 - 15.

Water - Zoo Indoor Water Park - located at 1900 Blvd. Champions in Clinton. Phone number (580) 323-9966. Starting May 21 - August 7 the park will be opened daily from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. General admission is $39.99 for 48” and over, $25.99 for 48” and under, children 3 and under are always free. They also have a package called Stay and Play. Where you can stay in the Holiday Inn Express next door and play at the indoor park.
