The vendors of the Bristow Artisans and Gardeners Market would like to thank the community for coming out to make the first Cruisin' Into Summer a huge market day success. Many of the vendors sold out of fresh produce before the winners of the car show were even announced. Thank you Bristow and surrounding areas for waking up early and coming to town to enjoy the market, the cars, and the friendships.
All of the love and support both online and by word of mouth here in the community is so greatly appreciated.
Saturday the market had 18 vendors and 18 registered cruisers. The Cruisin' Into Summer car show brought people from all over the region to our little town. The show organizers, Ron and Janet Duke, of Claremore, allowed the kids at the market to get involved by drawing tickets for the winners for the door prizes. The door prizes were donated by the skilled vendors, Mainer Ford, of Bristow, Bristow's O'Reilly's Auto Parts store, and Run Stop convenient store. Thank you for your generosity.
The winners of the Community Choice Awards were third place Jay Compston, secondplace Robert Leach, and first place went to Brent Criner. Each winner received a handmade woodwork creation by our past vendor. Thank you for coming to Bristow, for supporting our local economy, and for your support and encouragement of this vendor community.
The Bristow Artisans and Gardeners Market is held every Saturday morning from 7-11 a.m. or until it gets hot and the vendors get tired and go home. The market is located in the Tractor Supply parking lot.
