Pathfinder Club prepares depot for Tabouleh Festival

The Bristow Stars Pathfinder Club recently adopted the Bristow Railroad Depot which houses the Bristow Historical Society as their community service project.

Weeding, trash pick up, and beautifying the flowerbeds topped the list of activities.

One of the clubs main projects consisted of pulling weeds and mulching around the crêpe myrtle bush that has been dedicated to Bunney Baker.

The Pathfinder Club’s goal is to develop it’s youth, ages 10 to 16, to become leaders in their communities, good citizens, develop a Christian character, a knowledge of Bible truths and skills in various outdoor activities.

The club members have an opportunity to earn honor badges in over 400 categories including arts and crafts, health, household arts, outdoor industries, recreation and vocational skills.

The local club was originally organize by LaDel Fisher. Currently her grandson, Andrew Fisher, has been the leader for the past eight years and presently assisted by Gilbert Perez.
