Louis A. Mack was born Feb. 21, 1950 to Curtis and Joanna Mack in Memphis, Tennessee. He departed this life on February 9, 2022 at the age of 71 years; having been a Bristow area resident the last 44 years.
On January 9, 1968, Louis Mack entered the United States Army; serving three years before being honorably discharged in February of 1971. Several decorations were earned in connection with his service in Vietnam. On June 23, 1993, Louis and Delores were married in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They enjoyed twentysix years of marriage and their life together had spanned forty-six years. Louis worked for the United States Postal Service and after many years, retired to do what he does best… Fish.
Louis is survived by the love of his life, Delores; three children, Julius Dockery and wife Saundra, Audra Tonya Jones and Toi Crowder and husband Emmanuel; six siblings, Bynetta Logan, Earnest Mack and wife Brenda, Joe Lee Mack and wife Jean, James Willie Mack, Doris Mack and Dorothy Mack; nine grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanna Smith and husband L.C.; father, Curtis Mack; sister, Johnnie Pearl Dennis; brother, James Earl Mack and brother, Curtis Mack.
