Douglas Harden Blansett

December 21, 1939 - January 17, 2022

Douglas Harden Blansett was born Dec. 31, 1939, to Doris and Charles Blansett in Tulare, California. He departed this life Jan. 17, 2022, at the age of 83.

He graduated from Bristow High School. He then enlisted into the United States Air Force where he served his country during the Vietnam war. After his service time he came home and began driving a truck. He also worked re upholstering cars.

He enjoyed building hot rods as well as driving race cars in his younger years. He also enjoyed playing music, specifically the electric guitar and the violin. Doug also was known to take road trips without telling anyone where he was going. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchil dren.

He is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Maness, Jada Williams, and Nona Colegrove; five siblings, Murphy Blansett, Jerry Blansett, Larry Blansett, Charlene Flinn, and Judy Blansett; grandchildren, Brenda Lee Fitzpatrick, Douglas Allen Pearce, Allen Scott Moreland, Justin Reynolds, Joshua Colegrove, Mellissa Chandler, Cassie Colegrove, Elizabeth Colegrove; great grandchildren, Gayla Jo Pearce, Sierra Pearce, Grace Elizabeth Pearce, Rachel Pearce, Ezekiel Holland, Allen Moreland Jr., Aaron Moreland, Graci Reynolds, Melony Reynolds, Jon Reynolds, Nick and Autumn Colegrove, Dakota and Heather Colegrove and Wyatt and Cannon Colegrove, Allianna and Keidyn Chandler; one great grandson, Johnathan Pearce.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Elizabeth and Rhonda Blansett, three grandchildren, Lillith Pearce, Nicholas Molina, and Amanda Ames.
