Bristol Jean Fisher

August 17, 1942 -December 16, 2021

Bristol Jean Fisher, age 79, of Bristow, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, in the comfort of her own home.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1942. She married her husband Mitch on Aug. 26, 1999, at the Nazarene Church in Harrison, Arkansas. They have been each other’s MVP's ever since; their love and dedication for each other growing every day.

Bristol was a registered nurse for many years. She cared for terminal ill patients in their last days until she became ill herself. She battled cancer, diabetes, and was wheelchair bound for the last 28 years of her life but that never slowed her down.

Bristol was a member of the Fellowship Church of the Nazarene where she attended with husband Mitch.

Family was everything to Bristol, and all who knew her knew she was an incredibly dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Bristol had a kind and gentle heart. She had a great passion for life and never let anything hold her back. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mitchell Fisher; six children; Wesley, Michael Arons, Sherry, Sheila, Monica, and Barbie-Jo Pruitt; a brother, Audie Allen; two grandsons, James Church and Joseph Arons; three granddaughters, Ashley Mariah Pruitt, Madison Arons, and Erica Jade Pruitt; three greatgrandsons, Auden Pruitt, Daelyn Mcelyea, and Aiven Pruitt.

A Memorial Service will be held at Fellowship Church of the Nazarene; Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. The service will be officiated by her pastor, Rev. Ron Biddle.

Friends and family are welcome to attend.
