J.F. Howard was born Dec. 30, 1929, to Stacy Howard and Opel Pansy Cutbirth in Depew. He departed this life Dec. 23, 2021, at the age of 91.
He attended public schools in Depew and at 17 years old began his service to his country in the United States Army.
J.F. Howard and Olga Christine Bettis were united in marriage Dec. 22, 1952. From this union were born three children, Lecrecia, Stacy and Delinda.
J.F. had spent most of his life residing in McLean, Texas. He was employed by El Paso Natural Gas for over 31 years. During his tenure with the company, J.F. worked overseas in Algeria for six years. When he retired, he moved to Beaver, Oklahoma and later decided to move to his hometown, Depew.
He enjoyed playing softball when he was younger. As he got older, J.F. enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and working on the farm.
