The State Chamber recognizes Rep. Kyle Hilbert at annual Public Affairs Forum

The State Chamber announced Bristow area Rep. Kyle Hilbert (R-29) as the recipient for The State Chamber’s 2021 Guardian of Free Enterprise award at the 2021 Public Affairs Forum.

Rep. Hilbert served in a pivotal role for the business community this past session on a variety of legislative issues. As vice chair of the House Appropriations and Budget Committee, Rep. Hilbert had a hand in crafting a state budget that provided tax relief to individuals and businesses and provided surplus revenue for state savings.

“Rep. Hilbert led the charge on education reforms that will have lasting impacts on Oklahoma students and the future workforce,” said Chad Warmington, president and CEO of The State Chamber. “We congratulate him on all he accomplished in the 2021 Legislative session,” Warmington added.

The State Chamber’s Public Affairs Forum is the first event in the state leading up to legislative session where Oklahoma's legislative leaders give a preview of their upcoming priorities and discuss the pressing issues facing business in the coming year. The State Chamber also unveiled its 2022 Legislative Agenda at the event.
