Fall is here and it’s almost time for Halloween. If you are looking for pumpkins or wanting activities for the kids to do, we have found a few options for you.
Rustic Acres, in Okemah, has pumpkins, fall produce, and fall décor up for photo opportunities. The big hit this year people are talking about is Pleasant Valley Farms in Sand Springs. They have pumpkins, hot cocoa, hayrides, a cow train, mini golf, a 15 acre corn maze, and over 20 free activities. They are open from 9am to 7pm daily. The Patch is located in Sand Springs and Glenpool. The Patch, in Sand Springs, is $2 per person and $8 per child for activities which includes a slide, inflatables, a hay maze, toddler zone, festival games, petting zoo, and duck races. The Patch, in Glenpool, is $8 per person on weekdays and $9 per person on weekends, activities are included. They have a trike track, a human hamster wheel, pumpkin jumping pad, mega chess challenge, slide, petting zoo, duck races, toddler zone, inflatables, and corn maze. No entry fee for pumpkin picking.
On Saturday, Oct 30, the city will be blocking off 6th and 7th Streets on the west side of town from Spruce to Elm from 6-9 p.m. Businesses and some of the churches will have tables set up to pass out candy. Community Bank will be passing out hot dogs. During the day, Montfort and Allie B. Jones Memorial Library is having a carnival (times and activities are unknown at this time). Depew pre-K and elementary students will be trick or treating on Main from 9:45-10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct 29. Depew’s regular trick or treating will be on Halloween, Sunday, Oct 31, from dusk until 9 p.m. The Depew Baptist Church will have their Fall Festival Sunday, Oct 31, starting at 6pm. On Saturday, Oct 30, Kellyville will be having a car show from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and will have their Trunk-or-Treat from 5pm-8pm.
