In the top of the ninth Kinzie Williams singled and was then able to score on an error, making it 2-1 and the Pirates were able to hold the Panthers in the bottom of the ninth for the win. The Lady Pirates are finishing their week on a road trip to Chickasha, where far they shut out Lawton 14-0 and beat Carl Albert 13-3.

Against Carl Albert Bristow’s Jaci Shelton belted two home runs, one of which was a grand slam to give her six RBI’s in the win. Winning District play earns Bristow hosting rights for Regionals, which will begin October 7.
