Local man doing God’s Work in Walmart’s parking lot
For almost two days I was so weak I could barely walk. I was on my oxygen struggling to breathe and had to use a cane just to walk into Walmart in Bristow. From the moment I got out of our vehicle, this young man gestured to me to see if I needed a wheel chair and he would go get it for me. His smile lit up my difficult day and I mentioned to my wife, that young man is truly doing Gods work in a Walmart parking lot.
As I was in the store taking care of the necessities, I asked the ladies working the service desk if he was one of the workers and one lady replied, “He does it like mission work.” He loads people's groceries into their vehicles and takes their carts and puts them away but isn't paid. I could not stop thinking about how special that man is and how huge his heart is to be a servant to everyone who comes through. I told Chrisy Scroggs, we are going to find him and meet him after we leave.
It was a powerful interaction like you wouldn't believe. As we both began sharing Gods love with one another it was like Heaven came down in that parking lot and I felt an overwhelming strength come over me that allowed me to throw my cane back in the car and we both took turns bragging of all the won derful things that God is doing right now.
