Marie Yvonne Allee was born April 24, 1942, to Inez and Franklin Stonecipher, in Casa Grande, Arizona. She departed this life May 14, 2021 at the age of 79 years and 20 days.
Marie Stonecipher and Jim Allee were united in marriage in Sept. 25, 1958, in Drumright; to this union was born four boys. Jim and Marie began their life together in Arizona. In 1966 Bristow was made their home and the place they would raise their family. She was quick to get the family in church and they were soon members of the Assembly of God. Active in church, Marie was there every time the opportunity presented itself whether it be with Missionettes or Sunday school. She diligently took on the job of homemaker making a house a home. Raising four boys presented its challenges as they were all active in sports. She somehow got everyone where they were supposed to be; at the time they were supposed to be there. Spending time with family brought Marie great joy. As busy as she was, she always found time for herself whether it be outside gardening or crocheting. She was a talented artist who loved to paint and she was an avid collector of Barbie dolls
Marie is survived by her husband, Jim, of the Bristow home; four sons, Duane Allee and wife Shirley, of Corona California, Steve Allee, of Bristow, Tim Allee, of Bristow and Michael Allee and wife Shelley, of Tulsa; six siblings, Mavis Snyder, of Holbrook, Arizona, Kenneth Stonecipher and Wife Betty, of Live Oak California, Frank Stonecipher and wife Pat, of Kearney, Arizona, Naomi Kohler and husband John, of Stratford, Oklahoma, Rebecca Royce and Husband Barry, of Sanger, Texas and Michael Stonecipher and wife Pam of Waxahachie, Texas, Two Grand-daughters, Parker and Shelby Allee.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Viewing and visitation will be held 5- 8 p.m., Thursday, May 20, 2020.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m, Friday, May 21, 2021, at McGee Cemetery in Stratford, Oklahoma.
