Former Mannford Police Officer Mike Nealey was sentenced in the Florida Court systems, last week, for the second degree murder charges of former Mannford Police Chief Lucky Miller.
In November of 2019, Miller and Nealey were attending a training conference on child abuse investigations in Pennsicola, Florida. The two were staying in a room at the Hilton, in Pennsicola. On Sunday evening, the two got into an altercation in the motel room which resulted in the death of Miller. Reports say that Miller died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Nealey was found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced to life.
