Are you ready for some hometown western heritage fun? Then Saturday is your day.The Bristow Western Heritage Days returns with fun for the whole family and a rodeo too. Main Street will be blocked off for the event with vendors, music, great food and a lot of entertainment including the tallest cowboy in the world, the 1st Inv. Div. Calvary colorguard and the Express Clydesdale horses, Prize, Wizard, Dennis, Charger and Ned. Picture opportunities will be available with the horses and they will be at the rodeo.The parade led by a longhorn cattle drive will begin at 10 a.m. There will be a beer tent located on Main with live music. Performers include Laymon Barnett, Chris Matthews at, Julian Bryant and Connor Wilson. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the rodeo will be held both Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7 p.m with the mutin bustin. The rodeo begins at 8 p.m.The grand entry will be the Express Clydesdales, Cheridyn Bateman, trick and fancy rider and the Commanding General Color Guard will be performing.There will also be a nightly barnyard scramble. A lot of fun and enjoyment wrapped up into one festival, so plan on enjoying your Saturday at these events.
