The Bristow Welcome Committee wishes to invite all local residents, organizations, and businesses to participate in and attend its Veterans Day parade this Saturday, Nov. 13, beginning at 11 a.m. Parade participants will line up in the old Walmart parking lot between the Tractor Supply and old Mazzio’s businesses. According to committee officers, no preregistration is required to participate in the parade; however, the parade begins promptly at 11 a.m., so anyone planning to participate must line up early.
Additionally, the committee welcomes veterans from all service branches to participate and be honored. In an effort to honor all veterans, the committee decided to hold the parade on Saturday, allowing all those who work and attend school on Veterans Day to participate in the festivities. The parade will begin from the old Walmart parking lot and travel south down Main Street.
