On Saturday afternoon, a single car accident occurred on West Highway 66 between Bristow and Depew. Responding to the accident was the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, with the Depew Police controlling traffic. A female, name not released, driving a small SUV, left the roadway, went airborne and then through a fence. The impact caused the engine of the vehicle to be ejected from the engine compartment of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the emergency room in stable condition.
