Ghosts, goblins, black cats and bats, witches, vampires and even Spiderman and Batman too, will visit Bristow. Its Halloween? Looking for some fun family things to do? The community is holding several safe and fun events. Several events will be taking place on Saturday, Oct. 21.
The Woodland Queen Fall Festival will be held from 9 am. - 1 p.m. at the Bristow Library. There will be games, crafts, a pet parade, balloon creations, face painting and more. Food trucks will be serving delicious food. The Friends of the Library will also be hosting a book sale. This event is open to all ages.
Mainer Auto Sales will be hosting its first annual Trunk or Treat from 10 am. to 2 p.m at 512 N. Main. There will be a trunk contest, best costume, a bounce house, face painting and food trucks.
Bristow Advent School and Church will be hosting a kids carnival on Satuday at the Center for Hope on Main Street.
The Bristow Halloween Spook Trail will be open for family fun. Food including chili dogs, nachos and bottled water will be available, 7 p.m. carnival games and candy. At dark you can travel down the spook trail. There will be signs posted to help you find your way to the event at the four-way in Bristow. The address of the event is 23850 S. 329th West Ave. Wear your comfortable shoes. The spook trail is approximatley a quarter mile walk. Starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, the South Acres community will host a Spooky Open House tour. Enjoy spooks, treats and a whole lot of fun.
On Saturday Oct. 28, the city will host its Halloween event. Sixth and Seventh Streets from Main to Spruce will be blocked off from 6 – 10 p.m. Area businesses will be set up and passing out candy to all the ghosts and goblins, in the city hall parking lot.
