Are you a gardener and enjoy beautiful yards. The Bristow Garden Club is announcing its 4th Annual Garden Tour. With such a hot, scorching summer, the garden tour is being held later this year to allow for cooler temperatures. The planned date is Sept. 23, 2023, with three rides, 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The garden ckub holds the tours in order for local residents to showcase their yards and display their talents as a gardener, which again due to the extreme heat Oklahoma has had, it has been difficult to keep those gardens green. There will be a first and second place prize for the gardener with the greenest thumb.
The garden club still has a few spots available if you would like to showcase your yard. Tickets for the tour are available at the Ugly Duckling on West 5th Street, next to Sister Act.
