On Friday, Feb. 14, 2025 at 2:11 p.m. the Bristow Police Department received a threat, via 911, against the Bristow Public School system. The 911 caller said there was alledgedly a weapon at the school.The Bristow Police,along with the Creek County Sheriff's office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol were immediately dispatched to the school which was put on lockdown.
Upon arrival the investigators started working on finding the suspect while other officers secured the schools making sure all students were safe. A suspect was found and was apprehended pending further investigation. No weapon as found. With no other active threats, the lockdown was lifted at 2:26 p.m.
