The City of Bristow in conjunction with “Keep Oklahoma Beautiful” in partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, Route 66 Midpoint Corridor and Cox Communications will be holding a “free” tire cleanup along Route 66.
Drop off site for Bristow is Saturday, April 5, from 8 a.m. to Noon at the Public Works Building located at 500 W. 7th. (across from the city park playground). A few guidelines must be followed. Guidelines are as follows, all rims must be removed from the tires. This is for tires only. No tractor or large implement tires will be accepted and this is for residents only. ( no business tires) So if you have some old tires laying around that you have been wondering what to do with, this is your chance to dispose of the tires and do your part to Keep Oklahoma Beautiful.
