While most of us welcome the arrival of autumn weather and the holiday season, Bristow’s EAA Chapter 1709 members busily work, planning for their next Young Eagles rally when the community’s own youngsters will take flight and soar. Their next rally is currently planned for 8 a.m. on December 20.

A multi car accident occurred November 8 around 3 pm on I 44 and Mile Marker 203. Mile marker 203 is located between Bristow and Sapulpa, just west on St Hwy 66 at Heyburn. Several vehicles were stopped in the inside and outside lanes due to traffic congestion.

Bristow City Hall is getting a fresh new look, and the best part is, it’s not coming out of local tax dollars. Construction began this week on a redesigned and more welcoming lobby, funded completely through a grant written specifically for building improvements.
