Saturday morning the sun rose over Bristow’s largest back-to-school event, Touch-A-Truck Bristow. As the trucks rolled into the First Free Will Baptist Church parking lot, the Route 66 Midpoint Corridor hot air balloon went up.

Bunco for BlessingsBunco for Blessings was held, August 1, at 7 p.m., at the Center of Hope at 102 North Main Street. The local ladies reportedly raised $200 for Rotary Club of Bristow’s Back-to-School program. Ladies Bunco Night is open to the public, and women may play for $5.

Oklahoma to see a new redesigned license plate

by Angie Gentry angie.gentry@bristownews.comBeginning Sept.1, 2024 Oklahomans will be seeing a new Oklahoma license plate. The design is very different from the current Oklahoma license plate. It is a red background with white lettering and has the words “Imagine That” on the bottom.
