Voter Registration Deadline
The last day for voters to register to vote within the boundary of State Representative District 35, Unexpired term – General is January 16. This boundary within Creek County effects: Drumright, Lawrence Creek, Silver City, west Mannford, Oilton, and Olive.
Request Absentee Ballot Deadline The last day for voters to request an absentee ballot within the boundary of State Representative District 35, Unexpired term – General is January 26.
Early Voting Begins February 5
Early voting begins Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6 for voters within the boundary of State Representative District 35, Unexpired term – General. Creek County voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at their County Election Board office.
Creek County Election Board Secretary, Vicki Martin, said early voting is open to all voters. “You do not need to provide an excuse to vote early. Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted by the County Election Board or State Election Board—from school board and municipal elections to state and federal elections. This is a great option for those who will be, let’s say, out of town on Election Day,” Martin said.
Early voting is available Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Creek County Election Board office located at 230 E. Hobson Ave., Sapulpa. Martin reminds voters that early voting is not available at polling locations.
Some voters may need assistance to vote because of a physical disability. Such individuals may request to have an assistant or vote privately and independently using the ATI device attached to the voting device. Those who require assistance should talk to their precinct official or contact the County Election Board directly for instructions.
Election Day Is February 10
Creek County Election Board Secretary, Vicki Martin said, ”Precincts affected by this particular election will be open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10.”
