Trick or Treat Halloween is near

Spooks, goblins, witches and ghous are getting close to making their appearance. Due to the pandemic, Pumpkins in the Park will not be held this year. Wondering what to let the kids do this Halloween? We have the solution. An area from Elm to Cherry Streets and Sixth and Seventh Streets will be blocked off for kids to enjoy door to door trick or treating. The Bristow Police and Fire Department will have the west end of city hall blocked off and will be passing out candy to the youngsters. The trick or treaters will also be able to look inside the fire and police cars. This parking lot and the one across the street will have vendors passing out candy. Those who have joined in on the Trick or Treating fun will be Community Bank, Bristow Medical Center, the Ministerial Alliance, Crown Auto and Mainer Ford. There is an age limit on those trick or treating. The age limit is 12 years of age. If you would like to join in the fun and your business would like to pass out candy to the trick or treaters, to reserve a space, call Dena or Sabrina at city hall, (918) 367-2237.
