Bristow News reported on the disappearance of Patricia Matthews, age 71. Matthews was reported missing on Aug 10. 2025 when she reportedly went to look at some houses, which her son said was odd as she owned her own home. Matthews car was found at an intersection in Okmulgee County. Matthews was also reported as having dementia.
After a week long search in the vicinity of where the car was found, the Okmulgee County Emergency Management (OCEM) called off the search. Even though the physical search has ended, the Okmulgee County Sheriff will continue to follow up on any leads that come in and remain hopefull that information will come out that will lead to finding Matthews.
