The Bristow School District warmly welcomes an inspiring group of educators for the 2025-2026 school year, each bringing unique talents and a shared commitment to fostering student growth. This diverse cohort includes Josi Morquecho, Harlie Webb, Rachel Burkhalter, Jen Handsel, Allison Sexton, and Paike McNiel, who will enrich the district’s elementary schools with their passion and expertise.
Josi Morquecho, a Northeastern State University graduate, returns to her hometown to teach music. Harlie Webb, an Oklahoma State University alumna, continues as a physical education teacher. Rachel Burkhalter, joining from Texas Women’s University, brings her experience as a kindergarten teacher to Edison’s first grade, eager to connect with her adopted Bristow community. Jen Handsel, an NSU graduate, transitions from teaching math and geography to art at Collins and Edison. Allison Sexton, with 11 years of teaching experience from Fort Hays State University, joins Edison’s first grade, aiming to spark a love for learning with her extensive background and ESOL certification. Finally, Paike McNiel, a Southwest Baptist University graduate, returns to Bristow to teach fifth-grade science and U.S. history at Collins, fostering a supportive environment rooted in her hometown values.
