Print shop opens for business

A new print shop is opening for business in Bristow with hopes and plans to fill the printing needs of the Bristow community and surrounding area. Last Monday, January 23, Samantha Varner Palmer and her husband Justin of Bristow opened Palmer’s Print House & More at 302 North Main Street.

Having grown up with the family business at the stockyards, Samantha did not know much of the printing business. After leaving the stockyards, however, she worked in a print shop, which piqued her interest and ignited her passion for printing. She grew to enjoy it so much that she wanted her own printing business, where she could include her children and make it a family affair as well. Thus, the foundation for starting Palmer’s Print House was laid.

The Palmers will offer printing services that include producing items such as business cards and letterhead, invitations, invoices, copies, photos, and more with their largest current copying and printing size available being 11 by 17 inches. They will also offer facsimile and email services. Additionally, Samantha will sell trophies and offer engraving in the future.

In addition to offering printing and copying services, Palmer’s Print House will sell office supplies, including items such as rubber stamps, peel and stick address labels, notary stamps, various papers, inks, and more and will order what they do not have available in store to meet customers’ needs. The shop will also include some gift items: candles, greeting cards, soaps and lotions, body scrubs, home décor, personalized dish towels, seasonal decorations, and other small gifts.

Although the Palmers are operating their business after their soft opening on the 23rd at their current location at 302 North Main Street, Samantha noted that they will begin moving and host a grand opening celebration on February 13 at their new and permanent location, which will be at 220 North Main Street.

Samantha hopes to serve her community doing something she enjoys but also hopes the community will shop locally, getting to know her and her family and building connections that last a lifetime. She said “Stop in and check us out. We want to provide for your printing, office supply, and gift needs, but we also want to build connections with our friends and neighbors. Let’s grow together!”

Palmer’s Print House & More is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will remain open while moving locations between now and February 13. Calls may be directed to (918) 771-4199.
