Ft. Gibson: January 2. Elevation above normal, water 38 with 1 ft. of visibility. Blue catfish slow on shad along the river channel. Crappie slow on jigs and minnows around brush structure. Paddlefish slow snagging in the main lake and river channel. Recent drops in temperature and cold winter weather has drastically reduced water temps. Most anglers are struggling to catch fish during the cold snap.Kaw: January 3. Elevation normal, water 30s and clear. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait, shad and sunfish along channels, main lake and points. Crappie good on jigs, minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, main lake and standing timber. Keystone: December 30. Elevation normal, water clear. Blue catfish good on cut bait along channels. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Konawa: January 2. Elevation normal, water 42 and clear. Largemouth bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, jerk baits and live shad in coves, discharge, main lake and river channel. Channel catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait and shrimp in the discharge, inlet, riprap and weed beds.
Blue River: January 3. Elevation below normal, water 42 and clear. Rainbow trout excellent on inline spinnerbaits, PowerBait and spoon along channels and rocks. All colors of garlic scented PowerBait have been producing good numbers of fish. Metallic Super Dupers with slow-medium rate of retrieve have been very productive as well. Fly fishermen have given good reports of trout biting zebra midges, pheasant tailed nymphs and a wide variety of bead headed nymphs under a small indicator fished in the current seems behind current breaks.
Tenkiller: January 3. Elevation above normal, water 40s and murky.
Crappie fair on minnows and tube jigs around brush structure and docks. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, plastic baits and spinnerbaits around docks, points and shorelines.
Broken Bow: January 1. Elevation below normal, water 58. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits, crankbaits, flukes and spoons around brush structure, coves, points, river mouth and standing timber. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs and minnows around brush structure and standing timber.
Sooner: January 2. Elevation below normal, water 40s and murky. Striped bass hybrids fair on jigs and live shad in the discharge and main lake. Channel and blue catfish slow on cut bait, stinkbait and sunfish in the discharge and main lake. Saugeye slow on crankbaits and jigs in the discharge.
Foss: January 3. Elevation 3 3/4 ft. below normal with gates closed, water lower 50s and clear. Striped bass hybrids good on slabs in deep water. Walleye fair on worms. Catfish slow to fair on stinkbait. Crappie fair on live baits.
