Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) Mobile Office will be at the Bristow Public Library August 5, 2024 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. The Mobile Office contains all amenities found in any OKDHS county office and is staffed by experienced Family Services Specialists who can serve community members that participate in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), medical, and childcare subsidy programs. OKDHS staff will be able to process new applications, complete reviews and changes for active cases, issue EBT cards, receive documents, and answer questions.
“We are excited to bring this resource into Bristow, so our community does not have to drive elsewhere or face hours-long hold times on the phone. Rural communities are facing a lack of resources, and the library strives to change that,” says Library Director Justice Sweger.
