Congratulations go out to Sharon Reagan, of Bristow, on receiving the Northeast District Lifetime Achievement Award for her exceptional dedication to the 4-H program over the past 47 years.
Sharon began her 4-H volunteer career in the state of Texas with her own children in 1976 where she led the Rabbit Club and was the first woman to serve on the Livestock Board. Sharon began volunteering in Creek County in 2014. She was a great mentor. Sharon is always there to assist with programming and events when needed.
Sharon has held several roles in the Creek County 4-H Program. She has been a volunteer, Club Leader of two clubs, Project Club Leader, PAC member, and has served several terms in various offices on the Parent-Volunteer Association. She currently serves as the club leader for the Creek County Horse Project club where she has led several youth to district and state titles. She has been a great advocator for equine education securing many educational opportunities for 4-H equestrians. Sharon not only provides 4-H members with equine skills, but also, service learning and opportunities to promote 4-H in the community making for a good well-rounded 4-H experience.
