In the heart of Bristow, Oklahoma, where Route 66 hums with whispers of yesteryear, October’s crisp air has stirred up a dash of delightful spookiness. But hold onto your pumpkins, because this tale is straight from the present! The Bristow Historical Society recently called in a “Ghostbuster,” to investigate eerie disturbances at the Train Depot Museum: flickering lights, moved artifacts, and unexplained sounds.
With questions in hand and a notebook ready, I dove into the mystery. First stop: Linda, the dedicated museum coordinator and Historical Society member. “Things have been mysteriously rearranged for months,” she said with a hint of curiosity in her tone. “Little shifts here and there, like a ghostly game of musical chairs.” The latest incidents, though, had escalated into fullblown boo-worthy chaos, prompting the call of help.
Eager for more, I strolled Bristow’s charming streets, chatting with locals about the town’s ghostly past. That’s when a curious twist appeared: Dino, the adventurous green mascot from the Bristow Route 66 Toy Museum! Known for his festive patrols and wide travels, Dino has had his own creepy encounters, like a mannequin that seemed to move on its own. With his watchful gaze, I’m betting Dino holds a clue or two.
Stay tuned, like Shaggy and Scooby, I’ll be on the trail of more hints as this haunting story unfolds.
