Reindeer Club

Bristow's locally owned Reindeer Club will visit the Bristow Public Library on Wednesday, December 18, for their last local appearance of the season.

Eateries' Hours Change

In the last week, B-Town Grill and Miss Kitty's Coneys both announced changes made to their hours of operation.

Comedy Night

C & J Kountry Fixin's and CJ's Bar hosted CJ's Comedy Night on Saturday, December 7. Chrissy Iles served as host for featured comics Scotty Lee, Kyle Fleming, and Ryan Green. The show was free to the public.

Touch of Christmas

Cornerstone Church held its annual blessings event on Saturday, December 7, beginning at 9:30 a.m. More blessings were distributed this year than any previous year, resulting in more than 700 families being blessed.

Wake Island Day

Bristow VFW Auxiliary hosted Wake Island Memorial Day at the Wake Island Memorial last Saturday, December 7. They played a documentary, held a bake sale, and worked to renew awareness of the Battle of Wake Island.

Living Christmas Tree

First Baptist Church presented the Living Christmas Tree last weekend. Around 600 people attended.

Tobacco Quit Kits

Creek County TSET Healthy Living Program recently announced that “tobacco quit kits” are available at various locations throughout the county, including 2, locally: Bristow Public Library and Bristow Social Services.
