Fall Festival
Bristow Adventist School, at 718 East Jefferson Avenue, held its Fall Festival Fundraiser last Saturday, October 19, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The school hosted a petting zoo, games, bounce houses, and had s’mores and prizes throughout the evening.
Vendor Market at B-Town
Local produce growers and other vendors set up last weekend at B-Town Grill. B-Town, locally owned by Kenneth & Toni Buchanan, is located on the northeast corner of the intersection at East 1st Avenue and Oak Street. Several vendors sold delicious goodies adjacent to the highway and building in the grass lot. Be sure to check out market and restaurant offerings as well as the numerous festive events around town this weekend!
Hide & Seek
Depew First Responders will hold a hide-and-seek competition at 8 p.m. on October 26. Entrants must be registered at Depew Town Hall before October 25. A maximum of 100 entrants will be allowed, and entry costs $10 per participant. Official rules are available at Depew Town Hall.
Book Sale!
Friends of the Library will host their annual book sale this Friday and Saturday in the large conference room. Bookworms cherish such sales to score great books for good prices and support the library in the process. The sale will run from noon until 6 p.m. on Friday, October 25, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26.
Woodland Queen Fall Festival
This Saturday, October 26, be sure to swing by the library for childhood and family friendly fun! Youngsters can wear their costumes, play games, get their faces painted, choose an animal balloon, get crafty, grab some treats, and join a costume parade.
