Coloring Contest Winner
Miss Kitty’s Coneys recently held its Fair Days event and coloring contest. Tuesday morning, it announced the winner of its coloring contest via Facebook: Miss Scarlet Ceruti. Miss Ceruti won a $10 gift certificate for her artistic accomplishment.
Leukemia Benefit
A Leukemia Benefit event will be held Friday and Saturday, September 27 and 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Roland Tidwell Youth Center at 520 West 4 Avenue. The event will include a yard sale, vendors, bake sale, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle with all proceeds to benefit 2014 Bristow High School alumnus Cody Winkler and family as he battles AML.
Hide & Seek
Depew First Responders will hold a hide-and-seek competition at 8 p.m. on October 26. Entrants must be registered at Depew Town Hall before October 25. A maximum of 100 entrants will be allowed, and entry costs $10 per participant. Official rules are available at Depew Town Hall.
Cowboy Christmas
Bristow’s Cowboy Christmas is preparing for its festive Christmas celebrations. Organizers recently shared reminders for all to follow their “Bristow’s Route 66 Cowboy Christmas” Facebook page for updates and announcements. If last year was any indication, Cowboy Christmas will be a beloved annual event for Bristowans and visitors.
