Journey to the Cross Prayer Walk

Good Friday Interactive Experience for all ages

On Good Friday, April 3, families and individuals of the community are invited to take part in a special Good Friday walk of reflection and devotion. It will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Bristow, 7th and Chestnut. It will be a come and go event so people can come according to the time that best fits their schedule. Called “Journey To The Cross”, the walk will include several selfled interactive displays with activities and prayers appropriate for all ages. You can go through the activities at a pace that suits your own scheduled. It will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants can plan to attend a short Good Friday devotion that will be shared by pastor Greg Boyd at 12 noon. So you can come early to walk through the devotional activities and then go to the devotion with the pastor or you can attend the devotion first , and then do the walk. We ask that children be accompanied by their parents or grandparents to explain to them what each part of the story is about.
