Calling all raffle lovers! The Bristow Historical Society recently announced its fundraising raffle and prizes. The organization will dedicate one hundred percent of all raffle proceeds to its Route 66 Landmark Renovation Project.
The Bristow Historical Society’s Route 66 Landmark Renovation Project aims to save local historic landmarks along Route 66. The project hopes to restore the 1923 FRISCO train depot and 1929 FRISCO water tower. Of significance, the tower is reportedly one of only two original FRISCO towers remaining in the country. The project also hopes to restore and light the Chrysler Plymouth Tower. The final piece of the project involves renovating and painting the Town Square area.
Regarding the raffle, the prize package includes two tickets to a St. Louis Cardinals game, two tickets to the March 1 Oklahoma City Thunder versus Los Angeles Lakers game in Oklahoma City, and $150 worth of OKC Thunder bling.
Raffle tickets may be purchased in person (918)-3679335. Tickets may be purchased for $20 per ticket or six tickets for $100. The winner will be announced on the 31st of October on the Bristow Historical Society’s Facebook
