Dino’s tower tribute builds excitement ahead of Chrysler Tower lighting

Over the past several weeks, the museum’s well-known dinosaur mascot, Dino, has been busy constructing a toy-store– sized replica of the town’s historic Chrysler Tower. Much of the work has taken place quietly behind the scenes, often late at night, where the sounds of grinders and the smell of fresh paint have hinted that something special was underway.

Piece by piece, the small tower has taken shape inside the museum. The finished display carries plenty of character and pride. The project has become a playful tribute to one of Bristow’s most recognizable landmarks and a fun way to share the excitement surrounding its return.

The miniature tower was inspired by the real Chrysler Tower, which has recently been moved and refurbished through the efforts of the Bristow Historical Society along with many volunteers and community supporters. Their dedication has helped bring new life to the historic structure and prepare it to shine once again as a local landmark.

That moment is just around the corner. The full-sized Chrysler Tower is scheduled to be lit in April, marking an important milestone for the community and celebrating the teamwork that made the restoration possible.

Until then, visitors can stop by the museum to see Dino’s miniature version and share in the growing anticipation as Bristow prepares for the tower to light the skyline once again.
