Depew Police Department made another couple of arrests this week. On Friday evening, Peter Werner Thiel, age 54, from Tulsa, was arrested and booked into the Creek County Jail on alleged charges of child sexual abuse, rape by instrumentation and rape charges. The next morning, Saturday, Depew Police arrested Chelsea Rene Thiel, age 37, of Depew, for allegedly enabling child sexual abuse.
The police report states that a DHS worker contacted the DPD on a referral that had been made on a Depew address, 909 S. Sims Ave. The referral stated that an eight year old girl had allegedly been raped. A site visit was performed and contact was made with C. Thiel. According to the report, the Thiels have been separated off and on during the year 2024. P. Thiel told his estranged wife, C. Thiel, that he fantasized about their minor daughter. C Thiel allegedly told police that she role played with her husband, while both fantasized about the minor daughter. She also told police that she would send intimate photos of sexual acts on minor children to her husband during the work week, among other statements made by C. Thiel.
Sometime in the month of February, C. Thiel, allegedly stated that she had been watching a minor child, age eight years old. P. Thiel allegedly stated that C. Thiel had him stop at Walmart to get a plan B pill that prevents pregnancy and she gave it to the minor child, along with something to make the minor sleep. P. Thiel states that C. Thiel took the minor and laid her in the middle of the bed and let her fall asleep. C.Thiel states that she allegedly got out of bed to go smoke a cigarette and when she returned saw that P. Thiel had the minors pants down and had molested/raped her. P. Thiel’s story is somewhat different than this wife's. He claims that she was just as involved in the sexual acts on the minor as he was.
Both have been booked into the Creek County Jail awaiting their court appearance. Chelsea Thiel’s bond is set at $500,000 and Peter Thiel's is set at $700,000.
