On Sunday, Jan. 18, the Creek County Sheriff's office executed a sting operation after receiving a tip regarding a planned burglary.
Acting on the information, the deputies positioned themselves in different areas inside the residence, with the owner's permission, and waited. The suspects were quickly apprehended after their forced entry into the home. Nicholas Heath Anderson was arrested inside the home. Dacoda Reiyan Turner, age 33, of Bristow, took off running but the deputies took him into custody after a short foot pursuit.
A third person, the get-away driver, was also arrested. Jack Gene Henson, age 52, of Slick. A search warrant executed on Henson's residence uncovered evidence that he was operating what appeared to be a illegal gunsmith business. Henson, a convicted felon, was already out on bond from charges of trafficking illegal drugs and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction.
During the search, a massive amount of weapons and stolen property were uncovered. A total of 19 firearms, two of which were confirmed stolen, thousands of rounds of ammunition and various gun parts, a stolen Ford F150 out of Okfuskee County and a stolen Polaris Side by Side out of Creek County.
Nicholas Anderson is awaiting charges through the tribal police, Jack Henson was booked into Creek County Jail on charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, second degree burglary, 19 counts of possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, two counts of knowingly concealing stolen property and two counts of possession of a stolen vehicle. His bond has been set at $125,000. Dacoda Turner is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and second degree burglary. His bond was set at $60,000 and he was bonded out on Jan. 21.
These are arrests, not convictions. All arrestee's are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
