Creek County Commission discusses rezoning requests

The Creek County Commissioners met Monday morning in the commission chambers. After the Pledge of Allegiance and invocation, the commissioners approved the minutes from the meeting held Aug. 15. The board then approved multiple purchase orders.

Several requests for rezoning was put before the board. A lot split located on Maple Drive in Kellyville from agricultural to light residential, other location requests included 7505 S. 49th West Ave, and property located on the southwest corner of Hwy. 66 and Frankhoma Road in Sapulpa.

Discussion of possible action to consider signing the Cooperative Extension Services Agreement between the State and the County for fiscal year 2022/2023 was made. Discussion and possible action was made to consider approval of the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards to be submitted to the Oklahoma State Auditor’s Office, also discussion was made for consideration of disposal of two body worn cameras for the Creek County Sheriff's office and disposal of equipment for the Creek County Clerk's office.

The commissioners discussed action to consider approving a 90-day utility permit request from East Central Electric to parallel and cross various locations in District 3.
