Creek County 4-H Envirothon team winners of the 2026 Oklahoma Envirothon

A group of Creek County 4H members are winners of the 2026 Oklahoma Envirothon. The Envirothon is a huge, environmental science competition, one of North America’s most prestigious. Envirothon is an annual, hands-on environmental science competition for high school students. During the competition, teams are tested on five areas of environmental science (wildlife, forestry, soil science, aquatics, and a current topic), and their performance on an oral presentation.

The team is made up of Brendan Weihl, of Kellyville, Charolette Sipes, of Depew. Javon Greco, Micah Greco and Hadassah Greco, all from Bristow and all members if the Creek County 4-H. The team qualifies to compete in the International Envirothon to be held in Starkville, Mississippi in July of this year. At the international level, they will compete against teams from Canada, China, Singapore and other countries.

The team has worked really hard to get to this point and are now fundraising to help make the trip to Mississippi. If you would like to donate, contact the team coach Jennie Greco at (760) 877 9066 or donate directly to CashApp at $CCEnvirothonTeam.
