Celebrate National Library Week at Bristow Library

The Bristow Library is inviting the community to celebrate National Library Week with a fun challenge and exciting prizes for all ages.

Throughout the week, visitors to the library can participate in a contest of guessing how many books the library has. The person who comes closest to the correct number will win the grand prize: a drone. In addition to the grand prize, the library will also draw five additional winners at random to receive a family pack of four tickets to a Tulsa Drillers game, giving families a chance to enjoy a fun night of baseball together.

“National Library Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything the library offers our community,” said Justice Sweger, Library Director. “We wanted to create something fun that would bring people through the doors and remind everyone that the library is a place for discovery, learning, and community.”

The contest is open to all ages, and participants can enter by visiting the library and submitting their guess from April 1st to April 25th. Participants must have a free library card to win.

National Library Week is a nationwide celebration that highlights the important role libraries play in strengthening communities, providing access to information, and creating welcoming spaces for learning and connection.

Stop by the Bristow Library, make your guess, and join the celebration, you might walk away with a new drone or a family night at the ballpark!
