Bristow’s downtown was buzzing with warmth, music, and the scent of freshly prepared dishes as the Bristow Schools Vocal Music Department hosted its one-nightonly POP-UP Restaurant fundraiser during the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 20th. Community members gathered along Main Street to watch the city tree glow to life, then stepped into Venue 66 for an experience that blended fine dining with festive small-town charm.
Guests enjoyed a threecourse, Okie-style Lebaneseinspired dinner crafted with the help of local chefs, creating a unique meal that quickly became the talk of the evening. Diners could choose to sit inside the warmly decorated Venue 66 or take their meals to go as they continued to enjoy the holiday atmosphere.
Adding to the magic, students took on the role of “singing servers,” delivering plates of food alongside live music throughout the night. Their performances brought smiles to visitors of all ages and highlighted the talent within Bristow’s vocal music program.
The event not only provided a delicious start to the holiday season but also served as an uplifting fundraiser supporting the department’s upcoming projects. Organizers called the evening a heartwarming success as Bristow’s Christmas celebrations officially kicked off.
