Auctions are sure to please anyone who loves the thrill of a bidding competition, seeks to reduce waste by reusing and repurposing previously owned items, or simply shops for a good deal, unique find, or nice items they may otherwise be unable to afford. Auction lovers, KC’s Re-Vintage will host an auction this Saturday, January 20.
For those unfamiliar with KC’s Re-Vintage, Kehly Cochran opened the business, in the old garment factory building at 605 South Oak Street a year and a half ago. Inside, visitors find a multitude of vendor booths, boasting antiques, clothing, housewares, crafts, furniture, art, collectibles, and more.
Excited about the upcoming auction, Kehly noted that there will be lots and lots of stuff available with something for everyone. Further, she stated that the space made available through the sale of the auctioned items will allow for additional booths and vendors. Perhaps as many as another 30 booth spaces will open after auction items are sold and removed.
The auction will take place Saturday at 11 a.m., and participants will need to register by 10:30 a.m. on the day of the auction. Upon entering the building on the west side through the main entrance, shoppers and participants may register at the pink counter. The auction will take place on the east side of the building. Because the auction is inside, it will proceed regardless of weather.
Auction purchases must be paid for by cash or card only on the day of the auction. All purchased items must be retrieved within two weeks of the auction and no later than Saturday, February 3.
