Edison Elementary welcomes Allison Sexton to the Bristow Staff! Allison will be teaching 1st grade.
Graduating from Fort Hays State University, Allison earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with a Minor in Special Education. She has her ESOL endorsement and is Certified in LETRS. This will be her 11th year teaching, with nine of those years teaching in Western Kansas. She has taught PreK, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 4th grade. First grade is her favorite and she is looking forward to beginning her 8th year in First!
Allison grew up in a small Kansas town and is excited to join the Bristow community. She can't wait to meet her students and welcome them into her classroom, where she will work with each student to gain a love of learning, leading to growth not only academically but personally as well.
You can usually find Allison outside creating gardening projects if she isn't curled up with a great book and a cup of tea! She also enjoys fishing, sewing and going on trips with her husband
