Spring is here, the days are getting longer and the daffodils are in bloom. Bristow's annual Easter Egg Hunt is just around the corner. This year the hunt will take place on Saturday, April 19. at Bristow City Park, beginning at 10 a.m. Hundreds of children and their families look forward to and attend this hunt yearly. As in previous years, there will be four age groups one – 3 years old, 4 – 6 years old and 7 - 10 years.
Each year Sharon VanOrsdol puts together this hunt for all the area children and their families to enjoy. With donations from the community of either candies or money for candies, help from the 4-H and/or the BHS Leadership Class and the City of Bristow, each egg is stuffed with a special prize. Thousands of eggs are filled with goodies for the kids. As with Easter's in the past, the Easter Bunny will be attending the hunt to talk with the children and provide a picture opportunity. What great fun for the entire family. So mark your calendar for Bristow's Annual Easter Egg Hunt, April 19.
