A rainy Easter in the Park

Bristow families didn’t let a little rain ruin their plans to attend the annual Easter Egg Hunt in the city park. For the weather being as it was, the turn out was good and everyone seemed to enjoy the hunt, even the Easter Bunny.

On April 7 approximately 50 members of Creek County Retired Educators Association met at Vo Tech in Sapulpa.Their guest speaker was Travis Meyer, chief meteorologist for Channel 6.Meyer told the group how he got his start in forecasting theweather. Hecovered many aspects of weather forecasting.
