Bristow FFA members have hit the ground running this school year.
The FFA kicked things off with our Back-to-School Bash, where students had a blast with fun games and team-building activities. They also enjoyed pizza and watermelon after school. The Leadership Class has already been out in the community— volunteering at Bristow Social Services and reading to students at the elementary during read and Accurate Ag. book the week of Sept. 2 through the 5th.
The Horticulture Class has been hard at work, too! From cleaning up flower beds to creating beautiful terrariums for the fair, our students are learning and growing!
The Bristow FFA officer team just returned from the Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference. The conference was held at the Glenpool Conference center, learned more leadership skills and participated in team building activities. They plan to implement the things they learned in our local chapter.
Meanwhile, other members are busy preparing for the Cattle Grading Contest, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies Contest, the Creek County Fair and the Tulsa State Fair.
